The vocal sample on this was actually originally an ad-lib Tiece had recorded for Springs Eternal. I was messing about with it trying to do something for the intro of that track and ended up looping this section, I let myself get distracted and put some drums to it, and was soon writing the verse!

Once I had written, I recorded a demo and then started going in on the production. I ended up with what felt like an evolving journey more than anything I’ve made before, honestly this is probably the most fun I’ve ever had making a beat by myself; playing around with delays and effects and making stuff sound trippy was a great evening! Tiece sent me her verse and let me chop it up and have more fun adding effects and we were good!
